The graphs accessed through the link below show the average market time, average list price and average sales price for homes over the past several years for North Kitsap County (NK), Southeast Jefferson County (SEJ) and Bainbridge Island (BI).
The graphs continue to show buyer's markets. In NK, average selling prices have recently shown a slight upward trend (mostly due to some upper end sales). In SEJ the downward trend in average selling prices continues to moderate. In BI, the abrupt increase in average selling prices driven by high end sales has disappeared just as abruptly.
Unit sales have increased significantly in NK, especially in the lower end of the market. They are increasing more slowly in BI, and even more slowly in SEJ. Inventories remain constant in NK and have stabilized at elevated levels in SEJ and BI.
